The Paul is one of the newest hotels in New York City. It is located on 32 W 29th St and is within walking distance of the major interesting places that NYC has to offer.

The reception area is very modern and I immediately noticed the young and cool vibe within the hotel. The reception staff was very friendly and check-in went smoothly. They also gave us a map and directions if we wanted to go somewhere. Most of the staff members I met at The Paul are pretty young.

We stayed in one of their standard rooms. When I looked at the pictures prior to our arrival, I was a bit concerned about the size, but in reality I was pretty surprised by the space we had. The rooms are brand new and I especially liked the bathrooms. Although, not too large, they did a great job by efficiently using the limited space. I loved the shower with rain head! The Keurig coffee machine is a bonus too… The room was very well kept and it had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable night!

The next morning, we had breakfast. The choices were limited here, but there is some fruit available, some cereals, muffins and coffee. You really don’t need more to start off your day. The breakfast area is nicely decorated and I liked the small saloon with comfy couches.

When I wanted to go upstairs, I noticed a small business center with 2 iPads in the lobby which guests can use. Printing service is available too at the reception desk.

The Paul is a nice and new hotel in a great spot. I do recommend this hotel, especially if you are travelling with a group as they have great rooms with (large) bunk beds!
