As soon as you enter the gate into Athina Luxury Suites, you enter a world full of luxury and tranquility. We were welcomed at the hotel in the most friendly way. Some small talk made us feel at home immediately.

With 25 suites, Athina Luxury Suites isn’t a very large hotel. That’s why they are able to offer such a personalized service. Really nothing is asked for too much. When they handed out our keys, I couldn’t wait to explore one of their newest suites: the Black Rock Suite.

The Black Rock Suite is one of the exclusive accommodation options at Athina Luxury Suites. This luxurious room is designed to offer comfort, privacy, and a unique aesthetic experience. The minimalistic design of the room makes it truly unique and gives it a true cave feeling. It has been designed in a very classy and trendy way. The contemporary design with a blend of modern and traditional elements. The room’s interior is characterized by its elegant use of black and neutral tones, creating a sophisticated ambiance.

The room boasts a spacious layout that includes a comfortable sleeping area, a seating area, and a well-equipped bathroom with premium Hermès amenities.

The highlight of the Black Rock Suite definitely is the private pool deck with the most amazing view and private infinity pool. This area allows guests to relax in ultimate luxury while enjoying the breathtaking surroundings. I could have spent here all day long without getting bored.



In addition to the private infinity pool, the hotel offers a range of facilities including a large outdoor pool, spa, fitness center, and concierge services to assist guests in planning activities and excursions on the island. The main pool offers stunning views as well with plenty of comfy loungers.

At night we had dinner at Esperisma, a highly acclaimed restaurant known for its exquisite Mediterranean cuisine and breathtaking views. It is one of best places to enjoy a wonderful sunset. Our dining experience included a delectable three-course meal that showcased the finest flavors of Greece and beyond.

The culinary journey began with a classic Greek Salad that was a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to authenticity. The salad featured vibrant and fresh ingredients, including ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, red onions, tangy Kalamata olives, and creamy feta cheese. The flavors were beautifully balanced, and the drizzle of extra virgin olive oil added a velvety richness to each bite. It was evident that the ingredients were of the highest quality, offering a delightful start to our meal.




The main course, a Rib Eye Australian Prime Black Angus, was a true highlight that showcased the culinary prowess of Esperisma. The steak arrived cooked to perfection, with a succulent and tender texture that melted in the mouth. The rich flavor of the Black Angus beef was elevated by the skillful preparation and the accompanying elements. The terrine potatoes were a delightful surprise, offering a unique twist on the traditional potato side. The eggplant puree provided a velvety contrast to the hearty steak, while the beef jus added a depth of flavor that tied the dish together harmoniously. Each component was meticulously crafted, resulting in a memorable main course that exceeded expectations.



The dessert, a Crème Brûlée infused with Greek aromatic herbs and served with a sorbet of red berries, was a creative and indulgent conclusion to our meal. The crisp caramelized sugar layer gave way to a silky custard beneath, delicately scented with the subtle notes of local herbs. The accompanying sorbet of red berries provided a refreshing and tangy contrast, balancing the richness of the crème brûlée. This dessert not only satisfied the sweet tooth but also showcased the restaurant’s commitment to innovative flavor combinations.



After a wonderful night in a very comfortable king sized bed, it was time to eat again! The renowned breakfast at Athina Luxury Suites is something to look forward to! It is an à la carte breakfast. The night before you need to feel in a form with your preferences. The choices are endless. They will serve your breakfast on your private balcony. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the staff brought our breakfast. From the fresh fruit, avocado toasts to the yummie pancakes and crispy churros. Having breakfast with such an amazing view is something I will never forget.

For me, the highlight of Athina Luxury Suites is the staff. Athina Luxury Suites is known for their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. Throughout the stay, the guests are provided with personalized services to cater to their individual needs and preferences.

Let me present one of the newest five star hotel on Santorini: Venus Sunrise Hotel in Santorini, Greece. This hidden gem is idyllic nestled on the island overlooking the sparkling waters of the Aegean Sea. The hotel’s reputation for exceptional service and nice views had piqued our interest, and our stay exceeded all expectations.



Check-in was so nice… The young lady gave us all the information we needed to know about the hotel and the facilities. She gave us a map of the island and showed some interesting spots to discover. What I also appreciated was the fact that she gave me a Whatsapp phone number. Every request we had, it was just a short message away. Very convenient!



During our stay at Venus Sunrise we stayed at a Honeymoon Suite with an amazing outdoor jacuzzi. The suites at Venus Sunrise are thoughtfully designed, seamlessly blending modern comfort with traditional charm. Our suite boasts a generous living space with lounge area, a kingsized bed and a well-appointed bathroom. The layout creates a sense of openness and tranquility. Matching colors, matching decorations and matching furniture… It is all there.



The private outdoor jacuzzi was the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the warm, bubbling water while gazing at the breathtaking Santorini sunset. The experience was a perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty, allowing us to create lasting memories in a serene and romantic environment. When you stay here, make sure to enjoy the sunrise. Venus Sunrise is in a perfect position for this.



When I woke up, I worked out at the fitness facility. And then it was time for breakfast. Combining the beautiful view with a delicious à la carte breakfast is like a dream. The items were all freshly prepared and all tasted excellent. Fresh orange juice, yummie fresh coffee and an amazingly prepared omelet with feta cheese… I loved each bite and sip.

Again, Venus Sunrise Hotel’s commitment to exceptional service was evident throughout our stay. The staff members were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to cater to our needs, making us feel truly pampered. The hotel’s dedication to offering an intimate and luxurious experience made our time in Santorini truly special.
