Nestled in the heart of Kathmandu, the two-year-old gem that is Hyatt Place Kathmandu offers a lavish retreat for the discerning traveler. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby to the breathtaking views from my room, every aspect of my stay exuded sophistication and comfort. The lobby is an eye catcher of the hotel. It’s very modern and contemporary with several comfortable seating areas.





My room, with a view overlooking the iconic Monkey Temple, provided a serene escape from the bustling city. The modern design, coupled with thoughtful amenities, showcased the hotel’s commitment to luxury. The comfortable bed, plush linens, and well-appointed furnishings ensured a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploration. Bathroom featured a great walk-in shower, single sink and toilet.





Hyatt Place Kathmandu surpassed culinary expectations with its delectable offerings. Each evening, I indulged in a culinary journey at the hotel’s Restaurant Zing. The Pad Thai, a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, was a standout dish that reflected the kitchen’s commitment to authenticity. The juicy burger, a carnivore’s delight, and the carefully crafted drinks further elevated my dining experience. Breakfast at Hyatt Place Kathmandu is something to look forward to. The food is fresh and you have plenty of choice. Make sure to check out the bar as well. They have great cocktails! For a quick bite or drink, there’s a mini market next to the reception.

One of the hotel’s crowning jewels is its expansive outdoor pool deck. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering panoramic views of the city, it provided the perfect setting to unwind. Complimentary movie nights with popcorn are provided each week.

From seamless check-in to personalized recommendations for exploring the city, their dedication added a warm touch to the overall experience. Again, when I needed a computer the staff guided me to the business center in the lobby where guests can make use of several computer and printing services.
