The Westin Singapore is one of the best five star properties in Singapore. This world class hotel is located on a great location to explore Singapore. The Merlion (the symbol of Singapore) and Marina Bay, the financial district and China town are all very nearby and within walking distance. The Westin Singapore is located in the Asia Square Tower which is a very tall tower and uses floors 32 to 46. That is right, you first have to take the elevator before you reach the most stunning lobby area. When the doors open, you enter a world full of luxury and kindness. Everything looked brand new since the hotel opened in 2013 and we were welcomed with a great smile!

The room we stayed at, a Premier Room, was very nicely decorated and luxuriously appointed. I appreciated the high tech amenities such as the electronically controlled drapes. To be honest, the bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. They were so soft and the high quality linen were like heaven! No wonder they call the beds heavenly beds here! The room was pretty spacious at 40sqm.

Since we had a corner room, the views were amazing from up there. Even the bathroom had floor to ceiling windows and I enjoyed the views from the bath tub. Separate (rain) shower was great too by the way, water pressure was perfect. The cute BeWell teddy bear was a nice touch. It truly is all about being well and I appreciated the laid back yet professional atmosphere throughout the entire hotel.

A lot of things to explore at the Westin Singapore! For example, the outdoor infinity pool is stunning! It offers amazing views over the surrounding area. There’s a large fitness center with yoga corner too. For pure relaxation, the Westin Singapore offers a full spa center with several treatments. Although I didn’t visit the spa center, I trust the service given will be great. Maybe that’s what I like most about the Westin Singapore, everybody was so kind and attentive. They do their upmost best to make sure that every guest has a great time!

At night we had dinner at Seasonal Tastes, their signature restaurant. The buffet style cuisine is of a high quality and they mainly serve sea food. This is not just an ordinary buffet dinner here, the choices seemed endless and the overall quality of the food was excellent. Even if you are not into sea food, they offer several other options. I did try the Asian corner as well and as an European I don’t really like too spicy food. The chef did an excellent job by serving not-too-spicy noodles with chicken. It was just delicious! The dessert buffet was – again – like heaven! Especially the Thai desserts which are prepared by a Thai chef. Breakfast is served here as well. This is a true 5 star breakfast with excellent hot and cold dishes. The quality of the food was outstanding and I loved their coffee!

The Westin Singapore is one of my favorite hotels in Singapore and is an excellent choice for both business and leisure purposes. Whenever I am visiting any city, I will look for a Westin hotel… The beds are just too comfy! Thumbs up Westin Singapore, I love you!
